South Devon UTC Uniform
The uniform is for Year 10 and Year 11 and consists of:
Year 10 – (Key Stage 4)
Engineering and Digital Pathways
- Navy polo shirt with UTC logo
- Black cargo trousers
- Navy sweatshirt with UTC logo
- Navy Blue zipped hoodie with UTC logo
Year 10 – (Key Stage 4)
Health Care Pathway
- Navy Blue scrubs (top and trousers) with UTC logo
- Navy Blue zipped hoodie with UTC logo
PE
- Two tone navy/blue polo shirt with UTC logo
- 1/4 zip navy pe sweatshirt with UTC logo
- Track pants – navy/blue
- Shorts – navy/blue
- Training shoes
Items that are not allowed:
Trainers, canvas shoes, boots, short skirts, hoodies or non-uniform sweatshirts, Navy leggings, white ankle socks over Navy tights, jeggings, jeans or leggings.
Coats: sensible outdoor coats
Jewellery: is discouraged and the school cannot take any responsibility for it. Only the following items are acceptable – watch (not a smart one), a fine gold/silver chain, one small ring, one discreet bracelet, one stud earring in each ear. No facial piercings are allowed.
Hair: no extreme colours or styles, no shaven heads or tramlines of any kind.
Make up: discreet, no artificial nails, clear nail varnish only.
Students are expected to wear the correct uniform on the way to and from college. All staff will do their best to consistently implement the college uniform policy and we ask all parents/carers to fully support the college in upholding these rules.

Our supplier, Proserve, have put the details of how to purchase the school uniform this summer on their website, www.proservegroup.com. Information can be accessed regarding garment measurements to help you choose the right size and a printable tape measure. Click and collect orders and home delivery orders are available.
Proserve’s shop in Exmouth is open Monday – Saturday.

T Level Health Students
Uniform for students (To be worn in placement and practical lessons and in college should they wish!)
Uniform requirements will be:
Tunic – available through proserve (either fitted or non-fitted version as students prefer)
Any Black or Navy trousers (not leggings). Both our cargo trousers and scrub trousers would be suitable
Shoes – ideally be black or white, must be low-heeled with non-slip soles. They must fully enclose heels and toes and be made of waterproof material.
Clogs with holes (like Crocs), open-toed sandals, canvas pumps, and high heels are strictly prohibited in clinical areas for safety and hygiene reason and will restrict placement opportunities.
No acrylic or gel nails.
No visible facial piercings during placement (NHS placement requirement – Students can use clear or skin coloured retainers and septum piercings can be turned to be not visible).
