(Key stage 5)
We are offering students the opportunity to study for a T-Level in health with adult nursing as a specialism, which has been chosen as this option provides a good foundational knowledge in clinical skills, which will enable students to specialise when they progress onto university, advanced or higher apprenticeships or employment.
The qualification components are:
- Core Component A – the health & science sector
- Core Component B – science concepts
- Employer set project (ESP) – core skills
- Supporting the adult nursing team
- Students will have to undertake a minimum of 315 hours of work placement in the sector and we have secured placements with Torbay Hospital Trust.
Assessment will be through a mixture of case study assessment, observations of practical activities, professional discussion, written examinations and the employer set project (ESP)
